Submitting a site design to a site
You can make a design live--that is, submit it. When you submit a design, the following changes take place:
Its pages move from the Design Pages group to the Live Pages group in the Staging tab. (They are also displayed with a Live Page icon in the design view.)Its pages are moved from the Design folder in the site data folder to the target folder in the root folder and appear in the Files tab.Its pages appear in the Navigation View. If they are anchored, they appear in the central pane in the same hierarchy they form in the design view. If they are scratch pages, they appear in the Scratch Pane.
A submitted design can be recalled at any time. A recall reverses the effects listed above.
To submit a design to a site:
1 Open the design in a site design window and click the window.
2 Click the Submit Design button ( ) on the toolbar, or choose Design > Design Staging > Submit Design. You can submit a design for the first or only time, submit a design you have recalled for further development, or submit a design to update a previous submission of the design.
To recall a design from a site:
1 Open the design in a site design window, and click the window.
2 Click the Recall Design button ( ) on the toolbar, or choose Design > Design Staging > Recall Design. The changes to the pages of the design made when you submitted it are undone. That is, they move back to the Design Pages group, they move back to the Design folder in the site data folder, and they disappear from the Navigation View.
